Ideas for your fund

Your Fund in Memory should be as unique as the person whose life it celebrates. There are lots of things you can do to personalise and make it feel truly special as you fundraise in your loved one’s memory.

How you can personalise your fund:

  1. Upload favourite photos of your loved one.
  2. Share your favourite memories of them and add some words of remembrance.
  3. Post regular updates on all the amazing fundraising that’s happening on the fund.
  4. Choose a unique website address for your fund.

Ways friends and family can use the fund to remember your loved one:

  1. Leave a message of support or share a precious memory.
  2. Light a candle to mark a significant date or special occasion.
  3. Set up a fundraising page for an event they’re organising in memory of your loved one. Set up an event page for your fundraising.

Funeral collections and memorial events

Funeral collections and memorial events are important times for people to come together with others and pay tribute to someone who has died. Organising a collection is a wonderful way to honour your loved one and raise funds for an important cause.

Your Fund in Memory is an easy way to organise a collection. You can simply share your fund with friends, family and others so they can make a special donation along with a message.

Special moments and anniversaries

Special moments create the perfect time for you to share your fund with friends and family to mark occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries and other important times you shared with your loved one.

Your fund provides a long-lasting place you and others can return to time and time again, making it the perfect space to remember together.

You can come back to the fund as often as you like, and watch it grow and develop over time. Friends and family can add their own pictures and messages so together you can continue sharing favourite memories and treasured moments for years to come.

We will also add occasional updates about the research and support services you’re helping to fund, so you can see the difference your incredible fundraising makes.
