What is a Fund in Memory?

A Fund in Memory is a special way to remember someone you love.

It’s a place for you to celebrate their life, and all they meant to you.

Each Fund in Memory is as unique as the loved one whose life it celebrates. It’s yours to personalise and share with friends and family, in whatever way feels right to you. You’ll be able to post photos and messages of support, share treasured memories of your loved one with everyone who cared about them, and fundraise together for Breast Cancer Now.

Carmel Beach Walk

Every single fund – however big or small – is helping to fund research to make sure that no one else has to go through the pain of losing a loved one to this terrible disease. Because only research can stop breast cancer taking the lives of the people we love.

Our world-class research is discovering how to prevent breast cancer, save lives and live well with the disease, giving us the power to drive forward progress; and our life-changing care is here to make sure anyone affected by breast cancer gets the support they need to help them to live well with the physical and emotional impacts of the disease.

But a Fund in Memory is not just for us; it's for you. It is for your loved one, and for everyone who loved them.

It’s for a future where everybody who develops breast cancer lives - and is supported to live well.

It’s for hope.

I wanted the fund to be a continuation of her life. People come and share what Paula meant to them, she’s still very much alive.
