London Marathon 2019
£20,091 £15,000 target
In memory of my beautiful wife Leone, who died from breast cancer in September 2018, Leone’s cousin Abbi Watson and I will be running the 2019 London Marathon raising money for Breast Cancer Now.
Many people have recently commented to me “I didn’t know you were a runner” – to which my answer is “I`m not”. Running 26+ miles seems to me to be a very strange thing to want to do – and I don`t want to do it!
However, I will run (the whole way!) as it is for such an important cause. Breast cancer kills around a 1,000 women in the UK each month and more research is desperately needed. My wife was one of those women – Leone, this is for you and to fight that horrible disease that stole you from us.
I ask you to donate – yes, in Leone’s memory, but also for all the other women (and men) who face breast cancer now and in the future.
Please also read more about Abbi's marathon run below and offer your encouragement to her: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/AbbiWatson1
Thank you for your support.
