The Great Birmingham Marathon

When my dad told me that Emma had passed away I was deeply upset that this cruel disease had taken away another lovely and beautiful person from her loved ones. I have previously run two marathons for cancer research and I gave Emma one of the fabric flowers from the events as a token of hope that she would be one of the few who was given the chance to beat cancer, as unfortunately I knew from my own experience with my grandad loosing his own fight with cancer, that this disease was a lottery and even the strongest can sadly loose. It is a terrible illness and affects far too many people.

Emma was so full of life and love from what my dad told me about her and how she didn't let the illness get her down and she was driven to make a change and not let it beat her. So in memory of Emma I would like to run for her next Sunday and every step I take will be a stomp down on cancer. For Emma I want help her succeed in her one last wish to beat cancer and see an end to the suffering it causes. I would like to offer my love and condolences to her family and friends as I know that each day that passes you still miss her greatly, but with this fund page her memory and love for life and achieving greatness goes on.
