300,000 Challenge

WEEK 1 UPDATE
*1,585,890* steps completed between us which is about *793* miles! (the distance from Cardiff to Oslo!)
WEEK 2 UPDATE
Another *1,635,145* steps completed between us. Combined with last week’s mileage we’re at about *1,611* miles! (the distance from Cardiff to Athens!)
WEEK 3 UPDATE
Another *1,604,083* steps this week. Combined with last week’s total mileage we’re at about -*2,413* miles! (the distance from Cardiff to Thule airbase in Greenland!)

Another *1,599,030* steps this week.
Combined with last week’s total mileage we’re at about *3,212* miles! (the distance from Cardiff to Ottawa)

This June, (in the words of Ini Kamoze (sort of)) here come the Hot Steppers!
A team of fantastic females and three magnificent men will each be covering 300,000 steps (2,550 miles between us) over the course of the month to raise money for Breast Cancer Now, the research and care charity.
This will of course be a socially distanced event with our walkers across England and Wales, but this shan’t dampen our team spirit!

This challenge is really important to us all. An estimated 600,000 people are living with and beyond breast cancer in the UK, and every 10 minutes someone else is diagnosed with the disease. Now more than ever, we must do all we can to support patients and their families through whatever they’re facing.
