Sonia worked for the Department of Health for over 20 years, and spent over ten years in the Tobacco Programme.  Sonia was a great character, supportive colleague and valued by all her work colleagues. 

 

Sonia was well known to many in the Department.  Over her career with DH, Sonia made an enormous contribution, especially to tobacco control and public health.  

 

Sonia’s friends have established this tribute fund with Breast Cancer Care, one of Sonia’s favoured charities.
