In memory of Sarah Poulter

Welcome to the Sarah Poulter Tribute Fund.

I have created this page to help raise money for a charity that was very close to Sarah's heart...Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

As many of you know, I climbed Kilimanjaro in October 2006 as a tribute to Sarah and in memory of the great adventures that we shared over the years. I managed to raise £4163.45. This year I would like to add to this by at least £1500.00 to make a new total of £5663.45.

As I write this, it's almost 4 years since we lost Sarah and I know that she is still so very much in the thoughts of her friends and family. Sarah smiles down at me every day from several photos in my office :-)

Myself and 3 friends have decided to go for the "3 Peaks Challenge". We will have to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon in a 24 hour period. We walked up Snowdon recently and the prospect of two more mountains within hours was a sobering thought!!
3 out of the 4 of us were with Sarah on our ride from Chile to Argentina, the challenge that we chose when Sarah was recovering from surgery in 1999 so we will no doubt be reminiscing along the way!!

We will start the walks at 5pm on July 2nd. First is Ben Nevis at a height 1344m, approx 6 hours return trek. Then drive to Scafell Pike 978m, approx 4.5 hours return trek. Then on to Snowdon with the aim to reach the summit, 1085m at 5pm on July 3rd.
