In memory of ROSIE GREEN
Rosie Green was a much loved mother of two, Sarah and Rachel, and partner to Russell.
She was diagnosed with stage four Breast Cancer in 2010 at the age of 49. Despite spreading to the liver and brain, she fought this aggressive illness for over three years until unfortunately it became too much.
She never gave up and was willing to try any treatment available to her, including cancer drug trials and Gamma Knife surgery for her brain mets.
She was an inspiration to others with her strength and positivity at this time of her life. She always brought joy to those around her, and no matter where she was she'd always end up in a conversation with someone.
She loved travelling and made sure she would always have a holiday to look forward to. She said that the holidays abroad helped her to relax and almost forget she had a terminal illness.
Rosie will be truly missed and never forgotten, and always in our thoughts.
We thought that this tribute fund would be a fitting way as this money will help other women in her situation and help, eventually, to find a cure for breast cancer.
