This is the FINAL EVENT for the Sarah Greene Breakthrough Tribute Fund!

We made it...........

We have spent 3 exhilarating, exhausting days cycling 250 miles across beautiful and very hilly Ireland (over Sleive Aughty, Sleive Bloom and the Wicklow mountains) - coast to coast Galway to Dublin, culminating in a last day of 93 miles on the bikes and an Irish Hooley Night at Ireland's Highest Pub. We are tired and saddle sore, but delighted that between us we have raised £200,000 so far - half way to our target to fund the four year SARAH GREENE CLINICAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP.

We completed this huge challenge with 53 other cyclists to raise money for research into Triple Negative Breast Cancer at the Breakthrough Research Unit at Guys Hospital.

Sarah, my sister, died from Triple Negative Breast Cancer in December 2006, after a hugely courageous two year battle. She would be so proud of all we have achieved so far in her name and highly amused at all her family and friends taking to their bikes in their lycra!

Thank you for all your generosity – it makes such a difference and every penny you donate will go straight to the Breast Cancer Research Unit at Guys Hospital where they are making significant advances towards understanding and treating Triple Negative Breast Cancer, and helping reduce the suffering of all women with this horrible disease.
