How does my donation help?

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, dedicated to promoting the screening and prevention of a disease that impacts 2.3 million women globally. Recognised by its pink theme, the month is marked with various campaigns and programs.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month holds different meanings for different people. For some, it serves as a poignant reminder of a life-altering disease. For others, it’s an opportunity to support the millions of women diagnosed each year.

Understanding the campaign's goals and the emotions of those affected can help you decide how to participate in the month.

I plan to run at least 5km every day this month, wearing a pink top or bandana and supporting Breast Cancer Now charity.

Although I haven’t been running much lately, I hope that donning pink will reignite my love for running and, more importantly, honour and support the warriors fighting this disease every day.
