Triple Negative Breast Cancer brutally took Fi away from us, but she was insistent that it was NOT … “after a brave battle “or any of the other usual nonsense spouted out about cancer.

Instead, Fi will forever be remembered her for all the kindness and thoughtfulness she always shared. The sun always shines in Matlock and now the stars will be brighter for her joining them.

In her ever preparedness Fi asked for any donations being made in her memory should go to Breast Cancer Now, in place of the usual 'sorry for your loss' crap and flowers (by the way she LOATHED lillies!). We know we have lost her and we wouldn't wish it on anyone else, so please give as generously as you can to help stop this evil disease from ruining more lives.

As Mary Queen of Scots (one of Fi's favourite historical figues) said in one of her last letters, "In my end is my beginning". And so now too, the legend of Fiona Millan can ring in our hearts and minds, she will never be forgotton.
