I would like to honour my wife, Elisabeth, who recently passed away after an eight year battle with breast cancer.

A collection at Elisabeth's funeral raised money which I would like to donate to Breast Cancer Campaign's Adopt a Project initiative, namely Dr David Elliot at Newcastle University, as he is researching the growth and spread of the disease.

Elisabeth was a beautiful wife, mother, and person.

She will be deeply missed by Callum, Caitlin and I, as well as the rest of the family and friends. She battled extremely bravely over the past eight years and hardly ever complained about the devastating hand that was dealt her and us as a family. We will never get over our loss.

I hope the donation made helps towards finding a cure for this horrible disease so that other families do not have to go through what we have.
