In memory of Bruce Hunter

Bruce was the inspiration who spread the love and warmth within our family. Beloved husband of Gloria, cherished Dad to Louise, Helen and Edward. Also loved to the core through his joy and playfulness with all the grandchildren Henry, George, Austin and Quinn.

Inspite of his diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis, his energy remained infectious and his happy and fun personality would light up a room. Always determined to remain positive and enjoy life to the fullest with all those around him. He travelled to visit many different countries with Gloria and joined his family on many holidays making lasting memories.

In 2019 his daughter, Helen Roberts, was diagnosed with Breast cancer and underwent treatment. However, in September 2020 he was devastated when he learnt that Helen's cancer had returned. The cancer was now at stage 4 and would need continued treatment.

Bruce strove to support his family and in his selflessness he would like, in lieu of flowers, for donations to be made to “Breast Cancer Now”. This is a charity close to his heart that depends on donations to support Patients like Helen and their families. They also directly support research for new treatments which are being used for Helen and many other patients, so that they are able to spend precious extra time with their families and loved ones in his memory.
