In memory of Georgina Rose Somers

The fund was set up after the very sudden and very unexpected death of Georgina, at the age of just 14 due to a asthma attack . After long discussions with family and friends we decided that we would raise money for a charity in Georgina's name. The Breast Cancer Campaign was chosen because Georgina would each year purchase something from the range and pay with her pocket money, this was done for some 6/7 years.

The first fund raising was held in the local village Pub, where Georgina had lived for a few years, her Father being the Licensee. This raised a substantial amount of money for the first two years, this was with the help of Family and Friends.

Since setting up
"The Georgina Somers Pink Ribbon Trust Fund" in 2009 a further £15,465.27. has been raised.

Annual Fund Raising, Collections Tins, Hand Crafted Greeting Cards and Donations are collected all through the year with the continued support of our wonderful small Community, which helps us to keep Georgina's memory alive.

Fund raising will continue all the time we have this great support.
